Kenny and Stacy Maggard are the co-founders of Azalea Health Services, a mission-driven company dedicated to improving the quality of life for seniors in long-term care settings. Together, they bring a unique blend of professional expertise, compassion, and entrepreneurial spirit to their work — with a shared mission to make mental health services more accessible, responsive, and impactful for residents, their families, and the communities in which they live.

Roots in Louisiana

From

Kenny and Stacy first met at Louisiana State University, where their relationship began as college sweethearts. They married and returned to Lafayette in 2008, where they are raising their three children and remain deeply connected to the community they serve.

That local connection shapes everything about how Azalea operates. The work is personal — these are the residents in their neighbors' communities, the parents and grandparents of people they know. It's why being on-site, being consistent, and being genuinely present matters so much to them.

Prior to founding Azalea, Kenny built an accomplished career in commercial banking and mergers and acquisitions, developing the financial acumen and strategic perspective that now drives the company's growth and vision. His background in banking gave him a deep understanding of how to build sustainable, well-run organizations — and how to scale care without compromising quality.

Stacy's professional background in marketing and advertising brings a powerful complement to the partnership — shaping how Azalea communicates its mission and connects with the families and facilities it serves. Her work ensures that every interaction with Azalea — from the first conversation with a social services director to the way clinicians introduce themselves to a new resident — reflects the warmth and clarity the brand is built on.
